Team - Integrated DNA Technologies BVBA
About Us
Custom synthesis of nucleic acid related products such as siRNAs, aptamers and antisense compounds. Specialization in chemical modifications and dye labelling and also the synthesis of bioconjugates of oligonucleotides with for example PEG, peptides and proteins. Specialized in scales from multi-mg to multi-g. Laboratory scale research primers, probes and RNA compounds available through IDT, Inc.
Objectives
Design and synthesis of both Dicer substrate siRNAs and short external guide sequences for inhibiting respiratory viruses in vitro and in vivo. The target site selection will involve close coordination with the virologists involved in the project to ensure that only highly conserved sequences are targeted.

Objectives
- Study of the effect of aging on respiratory infections in mouse models
- Investigation of the impact of EBV-infections on the clinical outcome of respiratory infections focussing on the respiratory tract.
- Evaluation of antiviral strategies using different antisense like molecules in aged infected mice

- Identification of suitable target sites in hMPV, HCoV-NL63, H5N1 and
other respiratory viruses under study in this project in close collaboration
with the virologists.
- Design of Dicer substrate siRNAs and short external guide sequences
againstthose target sites for screening in cell culture.
- Chemical modification and scale-up syntheses of the best candidates for
esting in animal models in the partners laboratories.
